READING SERIES
PAST READING SERIES PLAYSIn keeping with our mission to foster a collaborative process through the production of new works, ICBINS is accepting submissions for our developmental reading series. All new, previously un-produced works are considered; preference is given to comedies. Playwrights must be in the NYC area.
Once your play is reviewed and accepted, we will cast the play through our pool of talented actors and bring on board a director and dramaturg. Together we will participate in a group table read and discussion of the material that will help launch the playwright into the next part of the drafting process.
This new draft will be rehearsed once and performed as a public reading with an audience talk-back.
The reading series also serves as a potential gate-way to full production.
If you would like to submit your play for consideration, please email your play as a .doc or .pdf file to submissions@icbins.com.
If you are interested in acting in our reading series, please email casting@icbins.com
If you are interested in participating as a dramaturg or as a director, please email collaborate@icbins.com
